rrdcached could of been installed but the settings are not in the nagios.cfg file.
Can you post the log files I ask for earlier and also run the following as root and post the output, I can see if there are any errors.

I see the rrdcached daemon running on your system but the configuration files could of had the settings removed when the upgrade was run.
Follow this procedure to enable rrdcached again and let us know if this fixes the issue.

RE-enabling rrdcached per the doc worked. Our performance graphs are now being populated again. Thank you!
