You can use a program like WinSCP to connect to the service and copy the file over.

Thanks! Got the file and the config looks good but for some reason it doesn't appear to be running. Can you also take a look at /usr/local/nagios/var/status.dat ? Ideally, just search for the DEN-WBS-PDEV02 host and post its details. It should be in a section that looks like:

hoststatus {
          host_name DEN-WBS-PDEV02....
          morestuff
          ...
          morestuff
}
Review the content before posting it as it may contain sensitive info.

Yes..still status of pending and status information of host check is pending.

I actually think we may need ot do a remote session to try to figure this issue out
