OK, one more thing... should I be concerned about this state?

You might want to make sure your user has API access enabled
Admin ->User Management -> Edit
Permissions Tab
Select Yes
Save User (even if no change)
Click Username upper right, Click Generate New API Key
Then, log out and back in

Re: Unsuccessful Add of Instance
I'm logging in with an admin account (nagiosadmin).
I followed your instructions first just on server 1p. No effect. Then for fun, I did the same thing on the other 3 servers (2p, 3p, 4p).
No effect.
Any other ideas?

Do you see the same if you select one of the other Instances from the drop-down?rocheryderm wrote:I'm logging in with an admin account (nagiosadmin).

Re: Unsuccessful Add of Instance
I'm able to get those same icons if I restart the elasticsearch service but they go away as soon as I use F5 to refresh. Are you restarting the service to get these? Does refreshing the page help? I wouldn't be worried about these if you're restarting the service - the status of these services are stored in the elasticsearch database so you may see some 'odd' results during a restart.
