"Looks like you were testing with the below service, which is why you got all three levels of notifications." --> i tried remove 3 contacts in Alert setting but it still send 3 noti :(
Pls find attach file for more details. I have exported profile as well.

Please try testing with a different host instead of "localhost".

Let start over and test if a host is available .... and see if this works or not (I tested my and it works).
Please pick a "host" in your XI system and set escalations for that host.
Then shut down that host and see what notification you get.

Using "localhost" for testing is NOT a good system to use since it is your MAIN Nagios XI machine.

What I did was setup a remote NCPA agent machine.
I then added escalations for that remote NCPA machine.
To test, I shutdown the remote NCPA machine.
