Hi,

I talked to two of our NLS experts. They are pretty sure the backups are hosed.

Here is their suggestion:

is the first machine completely dead? If he can get elasticsearch started on that machine then there's a chance he could just spin up a new NLS(same version as the old) and create a cluster. That would sync the current indices over to the new machine...the old snapshotted data would still be a goner though

Let me know if you can give that a try.

Hi,

all right.
I'll set up a new Server with the same NLS version as the old one and try to create a cluster.

I think i'll finish this during the next week.
