ok,

so i have check_winfile working perfectly for NSClient++ plugin. I am trying to get it working with an older plugin that i have that is still working called " Nagios Remote Plugin Executor for NT/W2K".

"Nagios Remote Plugin Executor for NT/W2K" is not a plugin. It serves the same purpose as NSClient, which is why i'm trying to understand what is the purpose.

ofadl,

But you indicated that you already have NSClient++ agent working. Again, what is the purpose if you have NSClient working?
