Try editing /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg file
Change this from
to
Then run the following.
Code: Select all
/etc/init.d/nagios stop
/etc/init.d/ndo2db restart
/etc/init.d/nagios start
See if that starts the checks.

You just made my weekend. Changing that value and bouncing those services has worked.
All my pending checks began checking and all out of date checks have resumed.
