Are the correct server IP's listed in the client's allowed_hosts in nrpe.cfg? How do you have this defined?
Were you able to telnet that machine?
Thanks,
Ravi
Allow me to re-phrase my question.
In your setup, what part is not working as you would like it to (please be specific, x machine is trying to connect to y machine with NRPE and this is the error)

@scottwilkerson
[heat-admin@ ~]$ /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H 10.x.x.x -c check_users
USERS OK - 4 users currently logged in |users=4;5;10;0
[heat-admin@ ~]$ /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H 10.x.x.x -c check_total_procs
PROCS CRITICAL: 1179 processes | procs=1179;150;200;0;
I got the non routable server talking to the director routable server but how I do I get the result at the Main Nagios XI server? Please advice.
Thanks,
Ravi

You would somehow have to create checks on the main system that are going to make the nrpe calls to the other system. It is going to be extremely complicated to setup and manage.
Does your organization know that you can setup an XI server on the machine you are using as the "proxy" server and you can configure the checks there, and use the built-in outbound transfers to send the results to your Main XI server?

Can tell me more about the "proxy server", how, where do I install it.

I was saying you can use Nagios XI on the server that you currently have that can connect to both networks.

@scottwilkerson
It is that only option, I don't think I can do that, the management is not going to go that route.
Thanks,
Ravi

You have been given several options, but YOU are going to have to put one together to work. We have some that are created for this case, which I just outlines, however if management will not go that route, you will have to custom create a solution, we do not create custom solutions, we can only support problems with the software which we created.
Maybe another engineer at your organization could put this custom solution together for you?
