Yes we have internet access, yes the server also has internet access. But I just thought about this, due to the servers internet security feature it may not be able to go to the BL sites listed. I will look into this further later.

I usually right click at the bottom of the PM page and then click add. It takes you to the same selection page as clicking the plus sign. there are thousands of monitors, and a few hundred for exchange. Does anyone know the exact name of the object i need to find the correct instance?

For instance, under MSExchangeTransport Queued Recipients By Age object there are seven instances.

It looks like not all counters are provided on the Microsoft Exchange server 2016 without installing a management pack.
