Thank you for all your help, I see they did come back to me with a possible fix. ticket #444572
I have implemented the fix but I am not receiving any notifications yet, not even when I do a custom notification, but when I do a test email from the email settings it comes through immediately.
So I am waiting for their further feedback, and will advise when they get back to me

Thank you for the update, we will continue support through the ticket as to not duplicate efforts, locking the thread.
@tgriep (who claimed the ticket) is very familiar with the Office 365 TLS changes. I think his recommendation of using the guide below would probably be the best path forward since it should use the XI settings that way (as far as I'm aware).
