I installed nagios trough this guide:

Maybe i should try to install nagios on a diffirent Linux/unix? or is there a beter install guide if this one isnt the correct one?

CentOS will have the most support from us, not to mention most of the official docs assume that you use cent.

(sorry for this way to long reply, i did massive amounts of research and such..reinstalls)
I upgraded nagios from 3.1 to 4.0.2 (and the newest nagios-plugin) and i have installed it on Centos.
i get very good results from check_snmp, instead of OK - STATUS 2 i get OK -STATUS Running(2). i can also monitor switch ports with check_snmp (including check_mrtg)
All nice.
But "third-party" plugins: It is WORKING!

I will admit I was a little scared when I saw a reply from a post made in September of last year, but I am glad everything worked out for you!
