Ok, you have a user process limit of 1024 but have a total of 1500 processes.
I would recommend upping that limit so your crons can run

Upon increasing the limit, I attempted to manually run the feedproc.php script that is called by the cron and I get the same results:
Code: Select all
# ulimit -u
4096
# /usr/local/nagiosxi/cron/feedproc.php
...
PROCESSED 0 COMMANDS

I checked and I was getting the same messages, so I rebooted the server to try and kick them off again.
Now, I'm getting the following:

This is normal output, now lets see if the items are in unconfigured objects

When I checked this today, I only see 13 items in the unconfigured items list.
These are 6 UPSs, 4 PDUs, and 3 AC units that are no longer on our network.
None of these items is for the Linux box that I'm trying to test NRDS on.

Can you run this again from the remote system
Code: Select all
/usr/local/nrdp/clients/nrds/nrds.pl -H testlane2
Also, can you verify that if you do a quick find from the XI interface that testlane2 is not present

testlane2 has been in our system for a while now. Do I need to remove it for this?
Code: Select all
# /usr/local/nrdp/clients/nrds/nrds.pl -H testlane2
ERROR: STDIN must be either 3 or 4 fields long, I found 2
Sent 5 checks to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/nrdp/

I'm confused, if it is in the system, it won't show under unconfigured objects...
I thought this was the system you were trying to add

That will explain a lot. This system has been added with some basic checks for a while now. Let me try removing it.
This could also explain all of the trouble I'm having with SNMP Traps I would imagine.
