HTTPS Mixed Content Warning

I've had to manually edit includes/page-default-splash.php to remove links to non-ssl content before Chrome would show the page as secure with no warnings. Could this be supported in a way that won't break with an update?

Any chance you guys could support SSL on things that call home? It looks like you had one on api.nagios.com but it expired in 2011. They're pretty cheap... :?

Do you see the same warnings when you use Firefox or IE?

All three browsers I have warned, or did not show the site as secure, with mixed content. IE did not load the mixed content but also did not show the site as secure.

I posted an internal bug report on this issue. I expect this to be resolved in our next release of XI, however this depends on the priority of the other projects we are working on as well.

What version of XI are you currently running, and what did you edit in the default splash?
