Hey guys,
In one region of the world I have Nagio XI deployed and in another I have CA Spectrum. The networks that they monitor are disjoined, but the NMSs can talk to each other. Is there anyway that I can have Nagios share info with Spectrum?
Thanks,
Chris
Sharing with CA Spectrum
Re: Sharing with CA Spectrum
NMSs?
I've developed a technologie using http://http-tunnel.sourceforge.net/ and OpenVPN to connect two disjoined servers/networks using http requests that can and will pass though proxy servers(squid/apache/ect) and firewalls(over port 80). The currently posted http-tunnel has a base64 allignment bug it needs a patch for, but other then that it was simple to setup and configure.
To get CA Spectrum talking to NagiosXI should be simple. NagiosXI already has a write up on SNMPTraps and there are a number of other solutions avalible. Subbmiting passive checks over NSCA is an easily scriptable solution.
