Unable to register at the Exchange.

I clicked on the "Forgot Password" and entered my email address, but I get the following:

Your password reset request failed because a User with the specified username and e-mail address could not be found..

but when I try to register, I get:

This e-mail is already registered. If you forgot your password, click on the Forgot your password link and a new password will be sent to you.
