I read this in the "release 3.5" announcement;
what modules are those which have to be recompiled? maybe plugins?

You won't have to recompile the plugins, they function independently of Nagios... I believe the modules that might need recompiling are thing like ndo2db, component software that is literally a module of nagios.

this would be correct, basically items that are NEB modules you may have added.
