Nagios Support Forum

I am running Nagios on a server. Nagios sees the server as running and most of the services as running. I have three services that have a $ in their name (i.e. MSSQL$DEVELOPMENT)that Nagios is saying is down when they are running. I am not sure why it would show these services as not running. I have double checked the command and everything is correct the only thing I can think could be causing the problem is the $ in the name of the service.

So these are localhost checks? Can you show us the command you are using to check these services? As if you were to run it from the command line for the output?
