Is there a way to set Nagios to ignore specific services on individual hosts? We have a windows server that we turned IIS off (on purpose) and Nagios keeps alarming on it.
Can I tell Nagios to ignore IIS and continue to monitor the rest of the services as usual on that specific host?

Thanks in Advance.

Sure, you can either remove the service completely, or put it in a non active state.. Navigate to CCM > Services > "Click the 'Yes' word under the 'Active' table for the service you wish to deactivate. When you decide to monitor it again, simply re-activate it.

You can also schedule individual services for downtime in Home -> Schedule Downtime, in the event there's a specific window of time you want to stuff alerts during.

During downtime, you will not receive alerts for the service.

Good suggestion 455157, though that was left out of the last message because this would require you to either keep scheduling downtime, or set it into recurring downtime thus alerting you each time it going to that downtime.

If you keep IIS turned off all the time, you can also acknowledge the problem. This will stop alerts as well.
