More then one nagios servers?

Hello,

I have an idea but dont know if it is possible with nagios.

Now I have one Nagios server, where I have 16 servers, around 6 switches and 8 UPS what I can have in nagios.

these 16 servers are in different locations ( different customers)
I would like to monitor more then this. but it is almoust impossible for me to monitor it from outsite.

then I was thinking about some more "confortable" solution and my vision is following (if it si possible):

Virtual servers for each customers with nagios core monitor entire network, such as servers, backup ups, routers, printers, etc. and sending all data to my office on "central" nagios server which will collect data from all other nagios servers and show it on one "local" web interface.

Is that possible? if so, then how? :-)

Thank you

btw. sorry for my english :-)

There are so many different ways to skin that cat.

The most popular ways of achieving this kind of setup would probably be by using either DNX, Merlin or NSCA forwarding. Based on the situation you are describing and some liberal use of Occams razor I would probably go with simple NSCA forwarding, it's the easiest to setup but nowhere near as reliable as the other options.

Here are some informational links:

So it's certainly possible, you will just need to decide which solution is most appropriate for you.
