Hello everyone

I was setting up a couple servers on nagios, and after i was done, i got the error "could not fetch information from server". Anyone know how to resolve this?

Are these windows servers running nsclient?

yes two of them are running it, but one give that error of "could not fetch information from server" and the other gives a " no data was received from host"

I assume you are trying to monitor windows servers - did you add nagios IP to the "allowed_hosts=" line in the NSC.ini (or nsclient.ini) file on the client?

what do u mean by the nagios IP, dont u mean the server ip?

IP as in the ip address of the nagios server.

there are two allowed_hosts lines, which one do i add the nagios ip adress to, or do i add the nagios ip to both?

i got it working, thanks alot for your help guys.... I had one more question, i have the same problem for the "could not fetch information from server" for two other services, which are not NSClient, both are CPU load processes
