Hi,

Is it possible to monitor disk growth per day on a Linux filesystem and send out an alert when the disk growth on the day has exceeded a specific percentage?

Would I need a specific script for that?

check_disk from the nagios-plugins package supports this. Most people use it through nrpe or check_by_ssh.
