Oracle Query Wizard - contacts and contact groups

One of our DBAs was setting up checks using the Oracle Query Wizard and ran into a snag. His user profile is as follows:
Security Settings

Authorization Level: USER
Can see all hosts and services:
Can (re)configure hosts and services: checked
Can control all hosts and services:
Can see/control monitoring engine:
Can access advanced features: checked
Has read-only access:
When he gets to the contacts and contact groups settings, he can select himself
as a contact via the 'Myself' checkbox , but the selectboxes for contacts and contact
groups are (or appear to be) empty.
I verified that my regular user account behaves the same way.
[see attached screenshot]
(Whether or not the contacts / contact groups checkboxes are checked makes no
difference in the contents. Also, host contacts / contact group settings seem to
have no effect on whether or not the boxes are populated in the wizard.)

Using the wizard with an admin account, I can see all contacts and contact groups.
I'd really rather not have to make everyone that may use the wizard an admin.
Are we doing something wrong or is this a problem with the wizard?

I was able to reproduce this, right now the User must be an Admin to make changes to the database such as these, I will talk to a developer and verify this is expected behavior.

Doh! This applies to ANY wizard I've tried so far. I've always used an admin account
for creating services via wizards so I haven't seen this before. Is this the expected
behaviour?

Sorry, didn't see your entry before I posted. I'll wait to see what the developer says.

Yes it is expected behavior, I forgot to mention that I too, tried it on multiple wizards and got the same result. The user must be an admin to validly create these definitions. I tried with nearly all combinations of the access check boxes for the user's account.

Odd...the user can create the checks, but can't assign contacts (other than the default 'myself').
(They don't have the ability to query contacts and contact groups in the DB?)
They can even assign the checks to a service group.
For now, I guess we will have to assign admin privileges to at least one member of the group.

Yep, unfortunately for the moment that seems to be the case. We are discussing this internally to find the best resolve without compromising other uses on the machine for multi-tenancy users.
