Scheduling downtime for Hosts & Services

When scheduling downtime on a host group, it is possible to schedule downtime for a host & its services in a single screen.

But when scheduling a downtime for a single host, that option is no longer available.

What is the best way to schedule downtime for a single host and ALL of its services in one command? Or do I need to schedule two downtimes? One for the host and another for its services? How can we get that check box added to the services downtime page?
Services on a host don't always come up immediately, so the built in host availability dependency does not work for us.

You are correct - this functionality is not available "out of the box". Please, post a feature request on our bug tracker:

As a workaround, you could do this in two steps.
1. Go to: Home->Host Detail->click on a host->Advanced tab, and click on "Schedule downtime" link in the "Commands" section, to schedule a downtime for the host.
2. Still under the "Host Status Detail" page (Advanced tab), click on "Schedule downtime for all services on this host", to schedule a downtime for the services.
Hope this helps.
Edit:
Actually, on a second thought, you don't need step 1. If a host is in downtime, you wouldn't be notified about the services on this host. So, going through both steps would be redundant. All you need is go to step 2.

Perhaps we have something mis-configured?
Last night, we had a host in scheduled downtime. The host was rebooted, but all of the services did not come back online when the host was back up. We received pages that the services were down, although the host was still in a maintenance window. According to your statement, that should not have happened?

You should not receive notifications while the host is in downtime.
Go to the CCM->Services->find the service in question->click on "View Text Config" action button (the diskette icon), and post the config (hide sensitive info).
