Installing Plugins ?

Is there any documentation on how to install plugins?
Still new to Linux and Nagios...
For instance I was trying to install this:

I was able to get the plugins to extract and install on a windows machine, but how do I tell my Nagios server to run the command?
Do I just put them in a folder and create a check?
