Firewall Ports to be Opened

I am trying to evaluate this product Nagios XI and I am having difficulties getting it up to speed. I have installed the client on the target servers thing that I would not need any ports to be opened but it is not the case. I am not able to see any activities going on those target servers but only the uptime. I would love to have a Nagios expert help me with this configuration as my trial period is near the expiration date.

Thanks very much for your help.

Are you using a remote agent on these machines? If so what agent, and also what OS are the remote systems? If not, what plugins are you presently trying to use. As much detailed information as possible would be fantastic, and we are happy to help out!

Thanks for looking at my issue. I firs used a remote agent but I uninstalled it and installed the one that I downloaded from Nagios. The plugins I use are the Windows WMI, the MSSQL Database, the MSSQL Database Query, and the MSSQL Server

WMI: You need to start the WMI service on the windows server.

MSSQL: Follow the doc below:

Additionally, depending on the version of the wizard, you may want to download the newest version as there have been a few changes in the past months.
