I am new to nagios and I been trying to setup up fully functional monitoring for HP hardware life ARRAY cage, hard drives, cpu power supply, temperature etc. I have tried check_hp, check_snmp for windows server 2003 running on hp proliant dl360 g4, but it keep showing me error that "Oid-tree not found, ignoring'. Please help me figure out what I am doing wrong.
I have checked snmp is working if I am using through nagiosxi configure tab. But its not showing anything related on hardware from there. I will appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.

Does you community string have access to the correct OID's on that server? Are you sure you are using the correct OID to check against the server?

Is snmp enabled on the hp server and is "insight Manager" running?
The plugin uses Compaq/HPs Insight Manager SNMP Agents installed on either Windows or Linux machines to check CPUs, fans, array controllers, logical / physical drives, temperature and power supplies on your Proliant servers or blade systems.

Hi,
I need help too because the check cannot find the oid for Array and physical drive on my hp server dl380 Gen7.
I installed Hp Insight agent adn snmp is running.
Is there anyone who has the same problem or resolved it ?
Regards,
David
