Puppet Master

"Puppet Master" - can this be used for both Production and Test environments, or is it recommend to have a dedicated server just for Production to keep them separate?
What do you mean by puppet master, Puppet? As far as where it can be used, sure, what is your aim though? What are you planning to do with it?
It is recommended to keep test and production servers separate, that way you do not wind up without a monitoring system when tests go awry.
