Nagios Reporting By Month

Nagios XI 2012 R2.3 with Centos 6 32 Bit
We have enough Nagios data that we would like to see it by month for the whole year. Is there anyway to either make graphs with a monthly axis or export the data so we could do the monthly averages ourselves? The full year is helpful but from a numbers standpoint it would be easier to diagnose if we just had one number for each month. Specifically we are using this to track CPU usage and we would like to see if it has gone up and if so by how much. The year graph can tell us that but it would be nice to have it broken down by month or just a average number for the month to compare.

Thanks,
Kent

The simplest thing to do would be to click on the CPU Usage service, go to the "Performance Graphs" tab, click on the graph, select the "Month View" time period, and click to the "Schedule Page" link in the upper right corner (the clock icon on the blue bar).

Note: This is available in the Nagios XI Enterprise Edition. If you don't have Enterprise, you can try it for free for 60 days (fully functional trial).

You can also use the "dashify" icon in the upper left corner of the graph to add it to a dashboard. You can add several graphs to a dashboard (for comparison), and schedule the whole dashboard page as a report.

If you need something more complicated than that, you can contact our sales department at [email protected] and request a quote for a custom development.
