Are there specials configurations on your system, ie; is Gnome installed? Are you using a proxy? Are you using SSL?

Issue:

Notifications are not being sent to "Contact Groups"

Contact groups, are just logical groups that pull settings for individual contacts\users to mail to. Is this happening with all contact groups, some contacts within all groups, or some contacts within some groups? Are the contacts with issues contacts or users? What notification settings to do these contacts\users have set presently?

Work was done on http://support.nagios.com/forum/viewtop ... 16&t=11957 which helped tremendously; However, a new problem emerged. Since Friday, nobody that was in a "Contact Group" has received notifications, only individual contacts.

Example:

Host: "SERVER01"
Contact: Admin55, Admin56, Admin57
Contact Group: Linux_Admins, Windows_Admins

Alert for host down = "SERVER01", notification WAS sent to the individual "Admin55, Admin56, Admin57", but not to the "Linux_Admins, Windows_Admins".

It has not only been to a particular "Contact Group", but to ALL Contact Groups.
