[Nagios-devel] Purpose of use_syslog

Hi Everyone,
I've decided to take a long hard look at my config files and have a questio=
n about some of the options.
In particular I'd like a little more information on the use_syslog option.
If enabled does this option use syslog instead of, or in addition to the in=
ternal log?
