Hello Ethan & list,

I have added some functionality to nagios to allow for overriding a
check command for a service depending on the time of day (so for
example checking the system load during the day can have x limits
set, but change them to y for when batch processing is run over night).

The patch is available on the blog at http://altinity.blogs.com/
dotorg/2007/04/changing_a_serv.html

Comments and suggestions welcome.
Thanks

Duncs
