How do I set host notification options (i.e. down, critical, warning) for users in Nagios XI? Do I have to manually enter it as a variable name in Misc Settings tab? Also, can I set this differently for a user's different add-on addresses or do I need to create a separate user?

Logged in as them (you can use the masquerade function for this), click the username in the upper right corner, then "Notification Preferences" in the left sidebar, and you'll see a set of checkboxes.

We don't currently have support for different settings for different addresses under the same user.
