I posted this to the user's group recently, but did not get any hits.
Was hoping that someone else could validate whether this was an
application bug or just a problem in my environment.
I've noticed that when I schedule downtime for a host, the Author of
the downtime posting varies depending on what screen is viewed.
If I look at the host screen for the affected host, the downtime author
is listed as the Nagios Process (and not as my user account):
10-17-2002 11:22:05 (Nagios Process) This host has been scheduled for
downtime starting between 10-17-2002 11:21:52 and 10-17-2002 13:21:52
for a period of 1 hours and 30 minutes. Notifications for the host will
not be sent out during that time period.
But, if I look at the Downtime web page, the Author correctly lists my
user account name:
SERVER_NAME 10-17-2002 11:22:04 martinn Upgrade 10-17-2002 11:21:52
10-17-2002 13:21:52 No 0d 1h 30m 0s
I see this on both my production system and my test system. Thanks in
advance.
Nolan
