I should clarify what I meant instead of the insane ramblings that I sent.

There should be a new grouping, maybe called checkgroup, which is a
purely user interface concept, allowing users to group service checks
how they like, including other checkgroups. This should not affect
hostgroups in any way, but should improve the user interface
significantly, by making it more readable to people interested in a
small section of the results, rather than everything.
