[Nagios-devel] Possible to check type of state?

Hello,
has someone added the type of an host/service-check (ACTIVE or
PASSIVE) as MACRO?
I believe it would be an great enhancement in failover monitoring.
In Conjunction with Freshness Intervalls event notifications could be
sent if type is ACTIVE, otherwise not.
