Is there anyway you could add a format version number for the logfiles?
status.log starts with the Nagios version number which could be treated as
a format version number
But the nagios.log and archives don't have any - just the LOG-rotation
schedule.
It would be useful for external parsers to map any field changes that
might occur.
We could treat all the exisitng log archives (that don't have any version
info) as based on Nagios 1.0.
