Premature end of script headers: status.cgi

I'm randomly getting this error on several .cgi files...
Premature end of script headers: XXX.cgi (status,config)
Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't
This is a new server (SuSe SLES11) with a fresh RPM install of Nagios® Core™ 3.2.3 -
I am not running selinux.
Any help as to how to solve this?
