Nagios plugin check_load doesn't work

Hello guys,
I'm using nagios with check_by_ssh.
Now I have a problem with the plugins check_disk and check_load.
If I trie to access the check_load plugin I get the error: "lib/libc.so.6 version GLIBC_2.8 not found
The OS where the plugin should run is a debian 64x.
Does someone know this issue?
