[Nagios-devel] A new option for contacts: issue_commands
Posted: Fri Feb 24, 2006 8:26 am
Hi!
Ethan, will you consider this patch for Nagios.
Premise is that we'd like to be able to define a view on a subset of
services using the contact definitions, but this contact will have no
permission to run commands. This could be done through Apache
configuration, but is best done in Nagios.
So the implementation is to have a new option for contacts:
issue_commands. The default is to allow, for backwards compatibility,
but if you specify 0, then you will get the standard error page re:
authorisation.
The patch is here: http://www.altinity.org/
