Already done here, too
I have hostgroups, hosts and services for all subscribers of
a particular category in one file. Only service to monitor for
subscribers is "ping", of course.
I just found the "hostgroup in service definition" feature in
the "Time Savers" section of the docs - great. Now if I only
could get rid of statements like:
members CPE_04940,CPE_04941,CPE_04942,CPE_04859,CPE_04860,CPE_04861,CPE_04864,CPE_04863,CPE_05030,CPE_04872,CPE_04964,CPE_05085,CPE_05084,CPE_05091,CPE_05168,CPE_05316,CPE_05288,CPE_05526,CPE_06081,CPE_06353,CPE_07024,CPE_06854,CPE_07358,CPE_07365,CPE_12965,CPE_13595,CPE_13590,CPE_13591,CPE_13592,CPE_09704,CPE_10326,CPE_13593,CPE_13565,CPE_13566,CPE_15025,CPE_15397,CPE_15396,CPE_16507,CPE_21132,CPE_09555,CPE_35576,CPE_37044,CPE_37049,CPE_40290

Yep - that would do the trick for me, too.
