I've read the upcoming.php file and see that in 2.0 those two places
where there is mention of DB support being dropped. I see that
further down the road the CGI are going away in favor of a PHP based
interface.
I think that for my needs I will be continuing to develop a web
based front end interface to the configuration data. Apparently
it will need to read and write config files in the current format.
I applaud the XML effort and am interested to see how that work
develops.
Thanks for the pointers.
