Phantom Services under Home - Service Detail

I am showing services under Home -> Service Detail that are not under the core config manager.
When I click on the service and choose re-configure I get this message:
This service appears to make use of an advanced configuration. Use the Nagios Core Config Manager to modify the settings for this service
When I go to delete it, I get this:
Could not find a unique id for this service
Service cannot be deleted using this method
One or more errors were detected that prevent the service from being deleted.
Possible causes include...
•The service is associated with other hosts, services, or objects that need to be deleted first
•The service is generated by an advanced monitoring configuration entry
•The service is maintained in a static or external configuration file
To resolve this issue...
•Use the Nagios Core Configuration Manager to delete the service - or -
•Manually delete the service definition from the appropriate external configuration fileI have tried writing all the config files, importing the config files from the current cfg files that don't show these services, and stoping and restarting Nagios and NagiosXI.
Any Ideas?
