I have an idea to make a good product (check_disk in my case) even bett=
er.
I use the plugin to check all filesystems at once (e. g. check_disk -w =
20%
-c 10% -m)
Now if an administrator puts a cdrom into one server and mounts it, the=
plugin returns a critical state. But of course I don't like getting ala=
rms
because of that.
Ok, I could check all other filesystems separately, but this is also no=
t,
what I want, because it needs additional administration at nagios every=
time
an administrator does changes on filesystems.
The best way would be to have a parameter that tells check_disk to chec=
k
every filesystem excepting the given one (or more) e. g. excepting
/dev/cdrom and /dev/cdrom1
