I see that the reporting has changed in the new version, I don't see an option to select a TimePeriod for the report.
The legacy report is there but it does not have the export function.

I need to submit a monthly detailed report with the following requirements:
Limit report to specific hours and days of week
Limit report to specific list of hosts
Uptime % for the month
Detailed outage report with dates and time for each host

Is there a way I can run such a report nightly and export it so I don't lose the details during the RRD roll up.

I'm a little confused as to what you're asking. All of the new reports have the features that you're asking for. See attachment.

Limit report to specific hours and days of week - No hourly report, but it allows specification of timeperiods in days.
Limit report to specific list of hosts - yes, hostgroups and servicesgroups
Uptime % for the month - yes, availability reports
Detailed outage report with dates and time for each host - try Availability or State History reports, see if either have what you need

The "State History" report does give me the detail I was looking for.

It is taking some time to get used to the new format, and I do miss the ability to select a single host.

I will add this as a "feature request" as you do make a good point and this may have been overlooked.

Single host reporting added in SVN and will be present starting in 2011R1.7
