Hope you find your patch to be stable, we are finding that every time
we add significant numbers of hosts / services we have to retune
Nagios to keep latencies low .. not complaining about doing that, but
sounds like this patch could reduce the need for us to do that as
often, which would be super cool.
Look forward to seeing your patch on list if it turns out to be stable
