[Nagios-devel] event_list_high vs event_list_low

Hi everyone,

I have a system running Nagios 2.12.
I'm tracking a bug that may be configuration related, but I'm not certain.
I'm trying to reduce latency and noticed in the event_execution_loop there =
are 2 event lists that are being used.
"The docs say 'Examples of high priority events include log file rotations,=
external command checks, and service reaper events.'
To get a complete list, I have looked around and found the following which =
I believe are the high priority events, by looking at handle_timed_event:
log file rotations,
external command checks,
service reaper events,
program shutdown,
program restart,
orphan check,
retention save,
status save,
service result freshness,
host result freshness,
expired downtime check,
check rescheduling,
expired comment check

And the following appear to be all the low priority events:
service checks,
host checks,

Is this complete? As to the high priority events, do these all stop service=
checks from executing?

Also in the interests of future upgrades, would this be the same list in Na=
gios 3.x=20

Sincerely,
Steve
