It works. I have replaced fork by system("nohup $cmd >&- 2>&- &");

Hi,

I have a perl plugin executed from NRPE.
This plugin used fork system call to execute a system command in a child pr=
ocess.
The father exit but become a defunct process.
The problem is that NRPE wait the father (defunct process) exit, so wait th=
at the child is finished.

Do someone have a solution ?
