XI Upgrade

I recently took over the management of a nagios xi system and I noticed it is a few versions behind. I need to upgrade the system but am unsure if there is a straight-shot upgrade or if there is a middle version to upgrade to between 2012r1.6 and 2012r2.4?

the upgrade took, however the sms notification capability has stopped working. All carriers and contact info is correct. Any thoughts?

How are sending the sms messages? via usb or other modem, or smtp? If they are being sent via smtp, do you have a relay or other server in between, or are you sending directly to the carrier?

They are sent via smtp directly to the carrier, I believe.

Can you verify that your smtp configuration under "manage Emails Settings" is correct?
Are your contacts all using the same sms gateway (carrier) or different ones?
