CentOS release 5.7 (Final)

32 or 64bit?

32 bit

VMware Image or Manual Install of XI?

VMware Image

Are there specials configurations on your system, ie; is Gnome installed? Are you using a proxy? Are you using SSL?

Forced SSL on NagiosXi login web screen

Nagios Xi version: Nagios XI 2012R2.4

Issue:

Recurring Downtime is not working intermittently.

I've tried deleting the existing "Recurring Downtime" and recreating it, but it's still sending notifications.

Please help,

What happens when you run the following script?

/usr/local/nagiosxi/cron/recurringdowntime.pl

Do you get any errors?

What is the output of the following command?

tail -50 /var/log/httpd/error_log

I believe you may be experiencing a bug which was recently fixed, please check this thread here for the fix:
