nagios monitor netbackup appliance

Is there nagios nrpe client for netbackup appliance for monitoring its hardware, filesystem, nic interfaces etc.?

Where do you have the netbackup software installed? If you can install NRPE on that server then yes you can monitor these things.

yes, I've installed the NRPE on our NetBackup appliance, what plugins are available to check appliance hardware, for example, RAID status, disk status, BBU status, etc?

Since we do now know what you use for your networked backups we cannot give a hand, please answer my questions above...

the netbackup 5220 appliance is shipped with Netbackup software, it is running SuSE 10.

Since you are running on a fairly standard linux os, you can use just about any linux plugin. There are many on exchange that work for checking raid or individual disk statuses via nrpe or snmp, not sure what BBU is, but I would not be surprised if you did some searching on exchange if there was something that would meet your needs. Alternatively if there is not, again since you are on a standard linux os, you can always script a check for yourself!

we have an 5220 appliance too.
Do you have found a nagios plugin to monitorize Netbackup Appliance?.
We have looking it forward too.

Did you try looking on the Exchange?
